What’s the Law? Commercial Leases

March 21 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Are you planning to rent an office, storefront, or other commercial space for your business?

Before entering into a lease for a commercial space, it is imperative that a business owner understands what type of commercial lease they are entering into as well as their obligations and liabilities under the lease.

This class will cover the basic information every business owner needs to know about commercial leases including:

  • An overview of the Nevada laws applicable to commercial leases;
  • Basic leasing fundamentals and common pitfalls of commercial leases; and,
  • Termination of a commercial lease and eviction process in Nevada for commercial premises.

This free seminar is presented by Nevada Legal Services in partnership with the Nevada SBDC and University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.  Please note that this class is not a substitute for legal counsel, and the presenters will not provide legal advice. If you need help with a particular legal issue, you should contact a licensed attorney.
