WHAT’S THE LAW? Tax Records, Reform & IRS Compliance
March 1 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Small business owners find added success when they plan time to work on their business. This includes knowing the laws when it comes to their taxes such as how much to pay, when to pay, the possible consequences of not having a record, and how the new tax reform affects them.
Keeping good records is essential to small business owners, and the IRS! This practice not only helps you to monitor the progress of your business, but it also helps you keep track of your business income and expenses. As a business owner, did you know that the IRS suggests that you keep your supporting tax records/documents for up to 7 years?
In this session, we will discuss the kind of business records you should keep and the possible consequences of not keeping good records. We will also discuss how you can, and should, stay in compliance with the IRS, and how the new tax reform affects your business.
