The winner of the pitch competition will win $20\,000 to help kickstart their venture. \n  \nAmanda Elliott is a small business advisor with the Nevada SBDC and Executive Director of the Nevada Outdoor Business Coalition. She specializes in the outdoor industry\, marketing\, and branding. Outside of working with clients\, she thrives on learning new things and taking part in professional development opportunities. Since moving to Nevada\, Amanda has emphasized participating in public speaking events to further the Nevada SBDC’s mission and lift up entrepreneurs. Kathy serves as a part-time business advisor and trainer for the Nevada SBDC primarily in Douglas County\, Carson City and surrounding areas. \n  \nKelli Kelly once sailed away on a tallship\, cooked on dive boats in the Bahamas\, worked her way up through corporate coffee\, and ultimately earned an Associate’s in the Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s in Organization and Project Management. After moving to Fallon\, Nevada\, Kelli found her calling in local and regional food systems while working at a farm-to-table restaurant. She was inspired to work with local farmers\, ranchers\, and value-added producers to promote sustainable agriculture and advocate for eating seasonally and within the foodshed.
