DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with the Indian Dispute Resolution Services (IDRS) Acorn Project\, join us to learn more about the quality control surveillance plan (QASP) for service contracts. This webinar series is open for any business owner\, regardless of Native status. \nBennie Gonzales of Supplier University has over 40 years of procurement experience as a Contracting Officer at Nellis AFB and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Bennie is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)\, a Certified Lead Quality Assurance Auditor\, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Bennie provides consulting services to small business firms in the area of acquisition\, contract administration\, and/or proposal development.  He currently trains and instructs DoD and civilian agency Contracting Officers. \n  \n**This event series requires two registrations- one for Nevada SBDC and one for the IDRS Acorn Project. DESCRIPTION:https://www.nativebiz.org/Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship Series \nThis a multi-session series. \nSession #1 2/2/2111:00 AM- 1:00 PM (PST) \nSession #2 2/3/2111:00 AM- 1:00 PM (PST) \nSession #3 2/4/2111:00 AM- 1:00 PM (PST) \nSession #4 2/5/2111:00 AM- 1:00 PM (PST) \nIn collaboration with the Indian Dispute Resolution Services (IDRS) Acorn Project\, we are hosting a series of free live online classes for artists and craftsmen who are interested in learning how to sell their goods through the world’s largest marketplace for handcrafted items. This series is open for any business owner\, regardless of Native status. Due to the high demand for this free course\, space is limited and only 40 participants will be accepted. Applicants will be kept on file and will be notified of the next scheduled series. \nThe Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship Series will help artists and craftsmen launch their own shops on Etsy to create pathways for supplemental income. Participants will learn the fundamentals of starting an online business and learn how to sell their products to new markets which is often a challenge for rural entrepreneurs. The course covers topics such as marketing\, branding\, pricing\, product photography and the technical process of opening an Etsy store. \nThe live virtual Etsy series takes place over four 2-hour sessions for a total of 8 hours of instruction. You are expected to attend all four sessions. As a participant in the class\, you will receive a workbook that contains worksheets to help you gather and organize the information you will need to properly set up your store and create an effective marketing strategy. You will also receive access to a recording walking you step-by-step through the technical aspects of opening an e-commerce account on Etsy. \n  \n**This event series requires registration with the Nevada SBDC and an application for the IDRS Acorn Project.
