DESCRIPTION:Join the Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)\, Procurement Outreach Program (POP) and Nevada SBDC to learn more about government/public sector contracting — the virtual presentations\, which are presented at no charge\, are designed for Nevada small businesses: \nLearn About GOED’s Nevada PTAC & Some Useful Website Links for Local\, State\, and Federal Government Contracting \n(Presenter: Tressa Fernandez\, Quality Assurance Administrator\, City of Las Vegas Purchasing and Contracts &\nDenise Marcella\, Quality Assurance Administrator\, City of Las Vegas Purchasing and Contracts) \nAfter providing an overview about the Nevada PTAC\, the speaker will discuss how to do business with the City of Las Vegas. The links that will be shared provide contracting opportunities\, especially for Nevada companies looking to sell their goods and/or services to government agencies or government prime contractors whether they’re inside or outside of Nevada. With their procurement or purchasing budgets\, these government-related organizations are still procuring goods and/or services and awarding contracts\, in order to meet respective agency and organizational missions. \nWhere’s The Contract” is a no-charge monthly training program designed to put Nevada businesses on the path to securing government contracts and diversifying revenue sources. \nThis procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency. \nThe Nevada SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. All services are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.
