DESCRIPTION:Understanding and learning how to build\, know\, like\, and trust is one of the most important skills small businesses need to successfully attract clients and build relationships. \nThis presentation will provide an overview of KLT\, intergenerational communications\, social media\, and the sales process. It will help participants understand: \n\nWhat is KLT?\nThe generations and their relationship with technology\nHow they use technology and social media to express themselves\nGenerational differences in communication etiquette\nThe connection between generational differences in communication\, decision making\, and how it relates to the sales process.\n\nMaria C. Hall is a business coach\, entrepreneur\, and former sales executive. She worked over 15 years in the insurance industry where she owned and operated her agency and served as a consultant for Allstate. Her work with entrepreneurs began when she partnered with a local chamber to develop a series of workshops and programs designed to assist businesses with the start-up process. As a business advisor/coach\, she specializes in sales training\, strategic planning\, cash flow analysis\, marketing\, pricing strategy\, employee engagement\, and conflict management. \nMs. Hall graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. She is a professional Path Certified Coach\, Licensed Trainer\, National Training Team Member\, and a Certified Startup Expert-Top 6 Business Coach. A native of Havana\, Cuba\, she speaks fluent Spanish. A self-described personality assessment and generations junkie\, she loves reading leadership development and business books in her spare time as well as cooking\, doing yoga and anything beach related. \n \nFunded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s (GOED’s) Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)\, Procurement Outreach Program (POP) and the Nevada Small Business Development center (SBDC) to learn more about government/public sector contracting – these virtual presentations\, which are presented at no charge\, are designed for Nevada for-profit businesses\, especially the small businesses*: \n*Any Nevada small business that is – or is not – a member of a chamber of commerce or other business-oriented organization in Nevada\, and that is interested in selling its goods and/or services in the government/public sector\, is encouraged to attend \n\nAfter an about 10-min. PTAC overview\, learn about what is a capabilities statement document\, its five key components\, and how they’re utilized. Presentation by Nathan “Nate” Jackson\, Deputy Director\, Nevada PTAC\n\nIn order to accommodate prospective webinar attendee’s schedules\, and to provide the maximum opportunity for attendees to ask questions\, this webinar will be conducted live on different days and timeframes.
