DESCRIPTION:If selling your business to a third party is part of your exit strategy you need to view your business through the eyes of a potential buyer.  Fixing up your business and getting it ready to show so that you get the best possible price is a process that takes some time (generally 3 – 5 years).  In this class we will review the 8 value drivers and the steps that you can take to maximize your value. \nKathryn Guthrie brings more than 16 years of entrepreneurial experience to her role as broker and is committed to assisting small business owners successfully transition their businesses to the next generation of ownership.  After selling Real Property Management Sac-Metro in June of 2019\, Kathryn used her time\, talent\, and energy to become a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and to obtain certification as a Value Builder Advisor.  Her services as a coach have been used to compliment the transaction services that she provides as a business broker. She is currently the managing broker for The Liberty Group of Nevada\, Inc.\, a successful business brokerage in Reno\, Nevada that offers services to buyers and sellers. \n \nFunded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
