SUMMARY:Where's the Contract? Resources for Veteran-Owned Businesses
DESCRIPTION:Join the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s (GOED’s) Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)\, Procurement Outreach Program (POP) and Nevada SBDC to learn more about government/public sector contracting — these virtual presentations\, which are presented at no charge\, are designed for Nevada for-profit businesses\, especially the small businesses*: \n*Any Nevada small business that is — or is not — a member of a chamber of commerce or other business-oriented organization in Nevada\, and that is interested in selling its goods and/or services in the government/public sector\, is encouraged to attend  The Nevada PTAC-led webinar lead by Jeremiah Mesquita\, Government Contracts Advisor\, Nevada PTAC \n\nNevada PTAC overview\, then learn about contracting opportunities\, business verification\, state bidder preferences\, etc.\n\n  “Where’s The Contract” is a no-charge monthly training program designed to put Nevada businesses on the path to securing government contracts and subcontracts and diversifying revenue sources.\nRegarding the Nevada PTAC: This procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency.\nRegarding the Nevada SBDC: The Nevada SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. All services are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with mental or physical disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
