SUMMARY:Healthcare: Starting Your Private Practice and What You Should Know
DESCRIPTION:This training is designed for healthcare professionals considering private practice who want a clear\, honest understanding of what lies beyond clinical work. Participants will explore the healthcare-industrial complex and how it shapes care delivery\, autonomy\, and business decision-making. The session challenges common myths about healthcare entrepreneurship and addresses the realities that are rarely discussed in formal education. It also highlights the critical gaps in what professional training programs don’t teach about building a practice. Attendees will leave with a grounded perspective on what it truly takes to start an independent practice. This session is ideal for clinicians who want to enter private practice informed\, prepared\, and strategic. \n  \n\nDuke Nishimura\, BS ME/AE\, MBA\, LEAN\, CVC \nDuke’s experience includes serial entrepreneurship launching 21 companies\, CEO of 9 international companies in healthcare\, biotech\, and emerging technologies.
