DESCRIPTION:Join the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s (GOED’s) Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)\, Procurement Outreach Program (POP) and Nevada SBDC to learn more about government/public sector contracting — these virtual presentations\, which are presented at no charge\, are designed for Nevada for-profit businesses\, especially the small businesses*: \n*Any Nevada small business that is — or is not — a member of a chamber of commerce or other business-oriented organization in Nevada\, and that is interested in selling its goods and/or services in the government/public sector\, is encouraged to attend  \nThe Nevada PTAC-led webinar lead by Nevada PTAC \n\nNevada PTAC overview\, then hear about\, as a minimum\, the federal government’s goal of increasing the share of contracts awarded to small disadvantaged businesses to 15% by 2025\, and how every fed. govt. agency is currently assessing available tools to increase opportunities for small businesses and traditionally underserved entrepreneurs\, so that they can compete for contracts; also\, be sure to bring your  general government contracting questions for the PTAC team!\n\n\n“Where’s The Contract” is a no-charge monthly training program designed to put Nevada businesses on the path to securing government contracts and subcontracts and diversifying revenue sources. \nRegarding the Nevada PTAC: This procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency. \nRegarding the Nevada SBDC: The Nevada SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.All services are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.
