Many businesses believe it is about “luck” or “being good at sales” but it works best when you have a system in place to guide the process. \nThis presentation will provide an overview of the sales process\, the importance of building client relationships and sales. It will help participants understand: \n\nWhat is the Customer Sales Process?\nHow to build a customer journey map\nIdentify areas for automation\nIdentify key points of communication with the client\nHow to integrate with your marketing and social media strategy\n\nMaria C. Hall is a business coach\, entrepreneur\, and former sales executive. She worked over 15 years in the insurance industry where she owned and operated her agency and served as a consultant for Allstate. Her work with entrepreneurs began when she partnered with a local chamber to develop a series of workshops and programs designed to assist businesses with the start-up process. As a business advisor/coach\, she specializes in sales training\, strategic planning\, cash flow analysis\, marketing\, pricing strategy\, employee engagement\, and conflict management. \nMs. Hall graduated from  the Rochester Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. She is a Professional Path Certified Coach\, Licensed Trainer\, National Training Team Member\, and a Certified Startup Expert-Top 6 Business Coach. A native of Havana\, Cuba\, she speaks fluent Spanish. DESCRIPTION:Are you preparing to ask for a business loan? Discouraged by a previous denial on a business loan? Join us for a panel discussion with loan officers from four Nevada lenders and an SBA representative to better prepare for your next loan pitch. We will learn about how lenders make their loan decisions\, tips from the lenders about polished pitching\, and steps you could take to mitigate challenges when accessing capital. \nPanel member bios: \n\nGreg Leuterio is the SBA Business Development Officer with Meadows Bank. Greg started in the SBA business as a Regional Sales Manager at Wachovia dating back to 1997. He has worked as a SBA Sales Manager for other lenders such as Silver State Bank and Nevada Commerce Bank. Greg has been assisting businesses here at Meadows Bank since January of 2010. He understands SBA objectives\, SBA regulations and what supporting documentation SBA wants when closing a loan. Additionally\, he analyzes financial statements and projections. He can assist navigating through delinquencies (bankruptcies\, short sales\, credit issues\, etc.). In his spare time\, he likes to share the knowledge he has accumulated over the years with new and existing businesses on panels and other social events.\nDoreen Lorinczi is the Vice President of Commercial Production at Greater Commercial Lending. With more than 20 years of lending experience\, Doreen Lorinczi’s expertise spans all forms of commercial lending. She has worked with a variety of industries and loan types\, with an emphasis on building creative structures that best fit the borrower’s needs. As head of Commercial Production at Greater Commercial Lending\, Lorinczi leads a team of government relationship officers who underwrite all of GCL’s new loan requests.\nBefore joining Greater Commercial Lending\, Lorinczi served as a vice president of Exchange Bank in Santa Rosa\, California\, where she managed a $40 million portfolio and oversaw the underwriting of a variety of commercial and agricultural loan applications\, including owner-occupied and investor real-estate with Small Business Administration (SBA) enhancements as needed. A senior credit analyst for American AgCredit\, Lorinczi underwrote all commercial loan applications\, including Production Credit Association (PCA) and Federal Land Credit Association (FLCA) loans up to $750 thousand under AgCredit’s Express Loan Program.\nAs a Small Business Relationship Manager for the Northern Nevada State Bank business team\, Angela Bradley brings more than 18 years of banking and commercial lending experience to the role. Her years of experience and knowledge of the business landscape in Northern Nevada helps make Angela a strong client advocate\, which in turn enables her to assist business clients and future clients with their financial goals.\nAngela is a third-generation Nevadan who is active in her community. A Women of Achievement honoree herself\, she now serves on the finance committee for the Nevada Women’s Fund. In addition\, she volunteers with Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada\, the Multiple Sclerosis Society\, United Way Alzheimer’s Association\, and school fundraisers.\nGuy Gugino is a Business Development Officer for the South West Region of Wells Fargo SBA. As part of SBA Lending\, Guy works with small businesses to help choose the best loan for their growing business and implement solutions based on a comprehensive understanding of their goals and vision for their business.\nGuy has worked for Wells Fargo for 18 years. Prior to joining Wells Fargo\, Guy was a Business Development Officer at Bank of America and Nevada First Bank in Southern Nevada\, where he specialized in working with small businesses. The good news is business owners can buck these trends with proper planning. This 3-part series workshop\, developed by MassMutual and SCORE\, will help you plan for the next stage for your business\, for yourself\, and for generations to come. \nPart 1: Succession Planning helps entrepreneurs understand the steps in planning for the eventual transfer of the business\, including: \n\nknowing the value of the business\nchoosing and preparing the appropriate successor\nhaving it all in writing\n\nAt the end of this workshop session\, clients should be prepared for a variety of business exit strategies – both voluntary and involuntary. \nPart 2: Once clients have determined the next steps for their business and their business’ worth\, they can start focusing on the next steps in their own lives. \nIn this workshop session\, we will discuss issues that arise with having your business be your retirement plan\, and other options to save and provide for your retirement. \nPart 3: Ultimately\, this workshop will culminate in discussing multiple future planning scenarios\, including: \n\nthe difference between estate reduction\, liquidity and equalization\nthe planning documents needed to leave a lasting legacy.\n\nIt is never too early to start planning ahead! \nThere will be a $15 fee for this training.

The SBA recently opened a new application portal to speed up decisions on whether outstanding loans will be forgiven or if businesses will need to repay them. Join us to receive hands-on assistance with navigating through the new SBA PPP Loan Forgiveness portal from our team of business advisors. If your lender is not participating in the new SBA PPP Loan Forgiveness portal\, we can help you prepare the proper documentation to submit to your lender directly for PPP forgiveness. \n  \nItems to Bring: \n\nLaptop or tablet (we have FREE WiFi)\nPPP loan documents\nIRS Form 941 – Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return (if applicable)\nBank or account statements that document the use of PPP funds\nCompleted SBA Form 3508S (available at https://www.sba.gov/document/sba-form-3508s-ppp-3508s-loan-forgiveness-application-instructions)\n\nFunded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
