Join the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s (GOED’s) Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Procurement Outreach Program (POP) and Nevada SBDC to learn more about government/public sector contracting — these virtual presentations, which are presented at no charge, are designed for Nevada for-profit businesses, especially the small businesses*:
*Any Nevada small business that is — or is not — a member of a chamber of commerce or other business-oriented organization in Nevada, and that is interested in selling its goods and/or services in the government/public sector is encouraged to attend

- After a brief Nevada PTAC overview, learn about BOR, which operates in 17 western states and buys a variety of products and services, especially from small businesses with — or without — socioeconomic designations; BOR’s mission is to assist in meeting the increasing water demands of the West, while protecting the environment and the public’s investment in these BOR structures
- Topics: BOR’s mission and programs; what it buys; its federal govt. small business goals; its forecast and opportunities for businesses; doing business with BOR and other federal govt. agencies; and marketing your business to BOR and other federal govt. agencies
“Where’s The Contract” is a no-charge monthly training program designed to put Nevada businesses on the path to securing government contracts and subcontracts and diversifying revenue sources.
Regarding the Nevada PTAC: This procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency.
Regarding the Nevada SBDC: The Nevada SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.All services are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.
