101 Website Basics

April 8 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

101 is the website basics, when to pull the trigger for a website, and what to do before you get there.

“Everyone says that there are secrets to great design and they’re wrong. They aren’t secrets so much as they are a checklist of things that might seem counterintuitive on the surface, but obvious when you hear the explanation.

• How to set up your website for success from the beginning

• What matters most to visitors?

• Building functionality – map out how the site needs to work for the customer

• Why no one cares about you and your “about me” page…except when they do.

• Your invisible third party on the site • When should you pull the trigger on building a site? When should you pay for it? What should I do before I get to that point?

• Workshop live sites that you own/use and how to improve them in real time

Ryan Pramberg, Alexander Newby, and Rob Benson – this team of serial entrepreneurs have had their hands in non-profits, kickstarters, web design and development, and financial advising. We believe that the best strategy is to “show, not tell” as we build beautiful websites that convert for your business.
