Product and Service Development – the role of Prototyping and Minimum Viable Products

Prototypes and “minimum viable products” (MVPs) allow you to test your product or service design, functionality, and value proposition in real-world settings. This workshop will provide you with approaches to prototyping, producing and utilizing MVPs, and introduce you to resources that can help your team move through the product or service development cycle.

Kyle Basarich received his bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and his MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with focuses in Marketing and New Venture Management. He comes to the Nevada SBDC with 10+ years of innovation, product development, and product management experience as well as extensive experience as a Maker and Do-It-Yourselfer. While pursuing his MBA, Kyle also joined and then managed the Rebel Venture Fund, evaluating a variety of early stage companies for investment.
