Sell Smarter Online through Strategy, Competition, & Pricing Essentials

Turn your e-commerce vision into an online shop opportunity in this 6-hour training. You’ll learn how to conduct market research that uncovers profitable opportunities, analyze potential competitors to identify your edge, and build a market strategy that attracts your ideal customers. We’ll identify the operational considerations  for running a smooth online store and teach you how to set prices. By the end, you’ll have a clear, actionable plan to position your business online, like on Made in Nevada, for growth and the know-how to outshine your competition.

 

Kathy Halbardier has over 25 years of experience in small business development as a highly successful entrepreneur as well as a sought-after advisor and trainer by those in all stages of business ownership. Her areas of expertise include business plan counseling, marketing, strategic planning, economic development and business education and training. With over 10 years in banking and other types of financial institutions, Kathy has assisted businesses in financial planning and access to capital through alternative lending sources. Kathy serves as a part-time business advisor and trainer for the Nevada SBDC primarily in Douglas County, Carson City and surrounding areas.

 

Kelli Kelly once sailed away on a tallship, cooked on dive boats in the Bahamas, worked her way up through corporate coffee, and ultimately earned an Associate’s in the Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s in Organization and Project Management. After moving to Fallon, Nevada, Kelli found her calling in local and regional food systems while working at a farm-to-table restaurant. She was inspired to work with local farmers, ranchers, and value-added producers to promote sustainable agriculture and advocate for eating seasonally and within the foodshed. Kelli serves as the Agriculture and Food Systems Business Advisor for the Nevada Small Business Development Center housed at the Churchill Entrepreneur Development Association and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Urban Leadership at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  Kelli is an avid reader, a policy wonk, a slurper of dumplings, and a proud “person of the bean”
