Strengthening Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Monthly Meeting

Prepare for emergencies: Disasters can take many forms and the financial cost of rebuilding after a disaster can be overwhelming. If you’re prepared for emergencies, you’ll be in a better position to recover and continue operations should disaster strike.

Susheel Kumar is a tenured SBA ODR&R employee of 12 years. He started his career with the SBA as a surge employee working for Hurricane Sandy in Dec 2012.

He was a banker by for 27 years. He has served in the South East Gulf Coast U.S, the Tri-State Area & in the CA Metro Markets. His last stint was a First Vice President at Zions Bancorp, managing a Regional Commercial Banking Center which housed 6 retail branches and a commercial banking unit. Aggregate deposits of $3.2 billion in Loans and $2.8 billion in deposits.

He graduated with a MBA in Financial Economics with honors in Finance, Economics and Management from St. John’s University, Jamaica, NY in 1992.

He graduated from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a minor in Management (B.S.M).

This series is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Nevada Small Business Development Center, and the Nevada’s Women’s Business Center. In collaboration with the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and Launchpad.
