
Tax Essentials for Small Business Owners

Designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners, this class covers the fundamentals of federal tax responsibilities, including income tax, self-employment tax, estimated payments, and common deductions. The course also provides a brief overview of Nevada sales tax rules, helping business owners understand when and how sales tax may apply to their products or services.
Taught by Lori Hauck, a Certified Public Accountant licensed in three states. She has over 15 years of experience teaching finance and accounting classes to college students and business professionals. She is an entrepreneur and international speaker on behavioral finance topics. She possesses a talent explaining financial topics to clients, students, and entrepreneurs in ways they can easily understand.
