Where’s the Contract? GOED: PTAC, SAGE, and SSBCI 2.0 Program Overview Training

Join the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development’s (GOED’s) Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), Procurement Outreach Program (POP) and the Nevada Small Business Development Center (Nevada SBDC) to learn more about government/public sector contracting – these virtual presentations, which are presented at no charge, are designed for Nevada for-profit businesses, especially small businesses*
*Any Nevada small business that is – or is not – a member of a chamber of commerce or other business-oriented organization in Nevada, and that is interested in selling its goods and/or services in the government/public sector, is encouraged to attend.

Please join the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) team members talk about the following:
- the Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), a procurement outreach program, and government contracting and subcontracting
- the Sierra Accelerator for Growth & Entrepreneurship (SAGE) program – Karsten Heise, Director of Strategic Programs, GOED, will be featured
- the State Small Business Credit Initiatives (SSBCI 2.0) program – Karsten will be featured again
Nevada businesses, especially small businesses in innovation, research, and technology areas are encouraged to attend.
“Where’s the Contract” is a no-charge monthly training program designed to put Nevada businesses on the path to securing government contracts and subcontracts and diversifying revenue sources.
Regarding the Nevada PTAC: This procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency.
Regarding the Nevada SBDC: The Nevada SBDC is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. All services are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with mental or physical disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
