Jake Carrico is the Northern Nevada Region Manager for the Nevada SBDC. In his role, Jake oversees a team of advisors and students; advises startups and existing businesses; and leads the Nevada SBDC’s strategic planning. He also play a key role in the ongoing development of the Nevada SBDC’s professional development program, the overhaul of the statewide client intake and assignment system, and the development of the Nevada Entrepreneur Network. Jake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Economics and Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), and an MBA from UNR. He has extensive experience in the fields of finance, business consulting, and economic development. His work experience includes roles as a commercial loan officer, economic impact study project manager, business development advisor, and owner/operator of his own small consulting firm.
